The Palace subsequently underwent several different phases – temporary closures, restructuring and reopenings – while always maintaining its original charm.

The Palace Hotel remains a pillar of Como’s tourist industry. The centuries-old history entwines with the city’s illustrious past, helping to preserve local cultural and architectural heritage.
